My Review Of Security Binds Her (A Dark Romance) (The Thalia Series Book 1) by Jennifer Bene
When I first started reading this book I was a little disappointed. It felt a tad too unrealistic.BUT! I stuck it out and am sooo glad I did. It got good. Fast.
I am now a huge fan of Jennifer Bene.
THALIA
She’s a sweet girl, keeps herself to herself. Has a pretty uneventful life to be honest until BAM the security guard from work (that she’s been thinking is super cute) abducts her and forces himself on her in the car park.
To make things a thousand times worse, her body reacts to the way he’s rough with her. And not in the way she expects it to.
She’s taken to a house where her “training” begins.
Shockingly it’s equal parts exciting and terrifying and Thalia doesn’t know how to react even if her body does.
Thalia has spirit though, and I love her for it!
“You haven’t accepted it yet, but you were always meant to be a slave. I know you’re not ready to hear that yet, but you need this. No other relationship would ever fulfil you like submitting will.”
THE GUARD
This guy has seen Thalia and immediately decided she will be his next victim. He brings her home to begin her training as a sex slave but didn’t realise that he was going to react to her the way he does. He’s done this loads of times. He and his brother have made an extremely profitable business out of it in fact. But no one has affected him this way before.
No matter though because he has to have her trained up for the auction in a few days.
Can he let her go when the time comes?
